Location: Oruro. Bolivia.
The Bolivian government has signed a contract with Spanish companies Valoriza (Sacyr Group) and Inmasa and German ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (Polysius) for construction, equipment supply, installation and commissioning a cement factory in the department of Oruro (Bolivia).
The project has become the largest producer of Bolivia, with a production of 1.3 million tons per year, and the highest in the world.
BACKGROUND
The main challenge is to achieve significant time savings in the posting of workers, with the constraint that the plant is located at 4000 m above the sea level.
THE PROJECT
Installing a metal frame attached to the cement own elevator.
THE SOLUTION
A permanent lift rack and pinion is prepared for dust atmospheres and has been designed, built and certified to work at 4000 m above the sea level.
