BACKGROUND
The difficulty was the enormous length and width of these spaces and the need for them to be double, that two different volumes could be combined.
THE PROJECT
Koolair needed a set of mechanisms that would allow them to create spaces with variable volumes in order to carry out tests of air conditioning equipment, with the simulation of different possible conditions.
THE SOLUTION
Turboiber offered a machine that has two movable ceilings of 16m long x 3m wide each, powered by 8 semi-buried and synchronized telescopic cylinders, and with a total payload of 10 T. The chosen solution allowed savings of more 9% compared to other options.
